artificer
One who creates a work of art or architecture. Pronounced "ar-TI-fiss-er" or "ART-i-fiss-er". Commonly misrendered as "artissifer," as a drunk person might say "ossifer" -- as in, "Honesht ossifer, I washn't weaving... I don't even know how to knit!"
brethren
Plural of brother. (Not "brethern" or "brothern".)
Entered Apprentice
The first degree of Craft Freemasonry.
Fellow Craft
The second degree of Craft Masonry.
Freemasonarian
A Freemason who believes Freemasonry to be a service club. Generally uninterested in, or actively opposed to, Masonic education. Puts institutional philanthropy over Masonic philosophy.
Masonry
Short for Freemasonry, in our context. (Not pronounced "masonary".)
Master Mason
The third degree of Craft Freemasonry.
steward
An officer of the Lodge -- Junior Steward or Senior Steward. The entry-level positions in the "progressive line." (Not pronounced "stewart".)
